I've known BJ most all his life - Yes! Back when he and I both had hair! Caught his performance at Don Gibson Theater and was taken back to that era. His music was great! A very talented and personable musician/singer who will transport an audience to the 50's and 60's! Keep up the music, BJ!

I took my mom to the Senior Adult Banquet at New Hope Baptist Church and BJ was the entertainment for the evening. I’ve known him all of my life and was a fan of The Ocean Blvd. Band that he used to play with. I knew he had retired from the band but didn’t know he had started his own solo act. As a backup vocalist and guitarist in the band he was only featured on three or four songs a night and I always wished he would sing more. Well I got my wish as BJ played and sang for over an hour playing all of our favorites from the fifties and sixties. Good vocals, good humor, good playing and all around great entertainment.
